Elastic has appointed Sarah Croft as its new Partner Director for Asia Pacific, strengthening the company’s focus on channel growth and partner engagement across the region. Croft, previously known as Sarah Wilson, will be based in Singapore and will lead Elastic’s regional partner strategy as the company expands its ecosystem for the Elasticsearch Platform and its Search AI capabilities.
Croft brings more than ten years of experience in enterprise technology, most recently serving as Datadog’s Alliances Manager for South Asia. During her six-year tenure at Datadog, she helped shape the company’s cloud strategy in the region and worked closely with key resellers to scale its channel business. Elastic said this background positions her to accelerate the company’s partner-led growth in APAC.
According to Sanjay Deshmukh, Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at Elastic, the strength of the company’s regional partner ecosystem will be central to delivering impact with AI. He noted that Croft’s experience in observability, security, and partnership development will play a key role in supporting partners and helping customers derive value from AI-driven solutions.
Croft said partners in the region stand to gain a competitive advantage by leveraging Elastic’s platform, which is built to turn unstructured data into actionable intelligence. She emphasized that the next wave of AI adoption in APAC will be driven by strong partner ecosystems and added that she is focused on building and nurturing long-term relationships across the region.
Croft will lead efforts to enhance partner capabilities, drive go-to-market strategies, and strengthen collaboration with resellers and service providers as Elastic continues to grow its presence in APAC.
